Those who are well have no need of a physician, but whose who are sick; I have come to call not the righteous but sinners. Mark 2:17
Tuesday: Holy Week: The Great Physician
Jesus came to save the sinners. Bad people. Sick People. Those we loathe.
Bombs go off in Brussels. Innocent people are killed again. Radical Islam terrorists have penetrated society at a vulnerable place. There are wounded people on both sides of the bomb.
A cell phone becomes a weapon of mass destruction. A human body and spirit is a disposable firearm to the terrorist regime.
Christ came into the world to save those who did this act and those who the act was perpetrated against.
The Great Physician is the only one who can heal the people of Radical Islam. “Your sins are forgiven” are the words that these wounded warriors long to hear and instead, they are listening to the sound of guns and vile words against humanity.
Jesus Christ came into the world that all men might have Abundant Life.
**Zacchaeus—tax collector who took too much; deceptive
**Saul/Paul—accomplice to a murder; sought out others to punish for their spiritual beliefs to persecute; hateful and full of malice
**Me–Sins unnamed for this account
Examples of men transformed by Jesus…saved by the grace of God!
Get dressed up in your finest on Sunday and praise God that you are no longer separated from Christ. Pray deeply for those who are raging against God and do not know his love and compassion. Pray for those who want to earn their way in to heaven by using their bodies—Pray for those who are beaten and killed because they love Jesus. Pray for those who persecute others for being a woman, a homosexual, a liar, an adulterer, or the wrong religion, race or anything else they decide that day
Pray for those who are mourning in your OUT LOUD VOICE. God hears you.
“..not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son…” 1 Jn 4:10
Bad people. GOD SAVE THEM.
