Striving for a conversational relationship with God we pray, listen, and devote time alone with him.  Often, it may seem that prayer gets pushed to the side in our daily lives–and lost in the daily grind.  Prayer is a connection that is always open.  Right?  Or is it something taken for granted…..

What if God decided to install voice mail?

Imagine praying and hearing this: thank you for calling My Father’s House.  Please select one of the following options:

Press 1 for Requests

Press 2 For Thanksgiving

Press 3 for Complaints

Press 4 for All Other Inquiries

What if God used the familiar excuse…

“I’m sorry all of our angels are busy helping other sinners right now.  However your prayer is important to the trinity, so stay on the line and your request will be answered in the order it was received.”

How about this if you had the extension for the “higher ups?”

Press 1 for Gabriel

Press 2 for Michael

Press 3 for the Angel directory

Press 4 if you want to hear King David sing  a Psalm while on hold

Press 5 to find if a loved one has been assigned to heaven, press # and enter their social security number

The office is closed for the weekend to observe a religious holiday.  Please pray again Monday after 9:00am eastern time (USA)  If you need emergency assistance when office closed–call your local pastor.
