beignets, Chicago Cubs, deborah by the palm, eating right, excellence, gumbo, New Orleans, NOLA, political conversation, politics, pralines, prayer, religion, right thinking, travel, whatever is true, World Series 2016
Five days away from political advertisements and there has been no sarcasm in my conversation.
A Chicago Cubs victory in the World Series started the positive frame of mind on Wednesday evening….then a short trip with some friends over the weekend to New Orleans proved to tee-up a no-ad five day run.
“Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.” Philippians 4:8
“Whatever” we immerse our life in is what we become.–thinking, eating, being, doing, —- I ate a lot of beignets in New Orleans…and pralines…and gumbo….
Pray: Dear Lord, Right thinking is from you…please guide me in all of my day…at home, at work and in my rest. Amen.
